🚩 The problem: Stress, insomnia, chronic pelvic pain, TMJ and jaw pain, teeth problems, anxiety, social anxiety, depression, suicidal thoughts, digestive issues, switching between diarrhea and constipation, carpal tunnel syndrome, brain fog, chronic fatigue, painful urination, respiratory issues
Some list, huh? That was my rock-bottom health status on February 22nd, 2018—my mom’s birthday dinner. The whole family went out to celebrate. Everyone was in good spirits—except me. I had to excuse myself three times to go to the bathroom, not only because the pelvic pain was so intense that I couldn’t sit, but also because I was on the verge of crying right there at the table. I felt awful. Overworked, overtrained, overstimulated—but underslept and undernourished, both physically and mentally. Sound familiar?
For three years, I had been dealing with these problems. The next day, I realized it was time for a change. And change, I did!
It has been a long road back to good health, but looking back, the progress is incredible. On days when I feel a little off, I remind myself to be grateful for how far I’ve come. There will always be off days—that’s just part of life. But the darkest days are long gone, and now, I look to the future with excitement.
It’s my hope that this site can be a beacon of hope and light for anyone who finds themselves somewhere along my 10-year recovery timeline—or for anyone simply interested in improving their health and overall well-being. I’ll dive into everything I tried—what worked, what didn’t. I’ll reflect on traditional methods, non-traditional approaches, and even some downright strange ones.
I hope you find value in this blog!
